CATHERINE JUSTICE, PT, DPT, RYT
Catherine is a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT) with the National Yoga Alliance, a registered Yoga Therapist with the International Association of Yoga Therapists, and is a licensed physical therapist (PT) having earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from the University of Minnesota in 2010.
Having trained for over 18 years in several different traditions of yoga, Catherine blends together elements from Vinyasa Flow, Hatha, and Ashtanga Yoga, creating an approach that is both highly physical and deeply meditative. She has studied with many exceptional teachers, including Shiva Rea, Dharma Mittra, Seane Corn, Manju Pattabhi Jois, and many other world-renown instructors (pictured below). Catherine has recently joined the University of St. Catherine as an adjunct faculty member as part of the Graduate Studies in Holistic Health program.
Catherine's work with other movement disciplines and martial arts, as well as her work as an actor infuses her teaching with spontaneity and creativity, bringing a unique sense of joy and fun to every class she teaches.
In her one-on-one yoga therapy sessions Catherine brings her extensive knowlege of anatomy and physiology to help students with injuries or pre-exsisting conditions facilitate their healing and safety through a deeper and more personal yoga practice.
