Back, by popular demand! A Yoga Mala is a traditional practice of 108 sun salutations. Different variations on the classical sun salutation will be employed to keep the class exciting, varied, and challenging. All levels of experience and ability are welcome as students are invited to practice at their own pace and ability. Come celebrate the new year with an intensely sweaty but immensely satisfying practice!
Restorative Yoga for Holiday Stress Relief

Preparing for the holidays is often stressful and chaotic. Take a break and rejuvenate by spending two hours enjoying the deeply relaxing effects of a restorative yoga class.
Through the use of yoga props, breath work, gentle stretching, and meditation, students will experience deep relaxation for the body, mind, and spirit.
Yoga postures in this workshop are specifically designed to relieve stress, tension, and pain from the body – particularly areas of commonly held muscle tension such as the jaw, neck, shoulders, upper and lower back, and hips.
Modifications on the yoga postures will be offered for anyone with physical limitations or injuries.

Adaptive Yoga for Kids with Special Needs is a yoga class specifically designed to help kids with disabilities improve their balance, flexibility, strength, focus, and self-esteem through fun and joyful exploration of yoga.
Yoga has myriad benefits for children with a multitude of diagnoses, including autism, Down’s syndrome, developmental delay, cerebral palsy, attention deficit disorder, and more. This class allows children to develop their gross motor skills in a relaxed, creative, fun, and non-competitive environment.
The instructor, Catherine Justice is a yoga teacher and a licensed physical therapist with experience in pediatrics. The class is designed for children ages 7-12 of all abilities.

Pax Gabriel Justice was born just as the sun rose in the early hours of Tuesday, August 3rd. His first name is the latin word for 'peace' and he has been an amazingly sweet and sensitive little baby. I'm returning to teaching on Saturday Aug. 21 and will have lots of pictures for anyone interested. Right now his favorite things are hiccupping, being outside on hot humid days, and sucking on his mom's fingers. As you can see in the photo below, he knows he's the son of a yogini as he's already practicing his muddras...
